也说病国病民、病民害国。害人民，害国家。清纪昀《阅微草堂笔记》卷五：“吾辈病民蛊国，不能仇现在之执法者也。” 病：损害，祸害。蛊（gǔ）：相传为人工培养成的毒虫，引申为毒害。
